Where were you?

I was in the 7th grade. Head of Security got every grade level to the cafeteria in order. So we were told we were dismissed early and the whole cafeteria went into a free for all cheer

then our head of security was like "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! YOU IDIOTS, PEOPLE ARE DYING AND HERE YOU ARE CHEERING?!!!!" But none of us knew what was going on. The teachers turned off the TVs in their rooms when it was happening and people were told what was happening later on and when people came home.

then we all had to leave, I walked home everyday afterschool and ran home

I was late to work after oversleeping at my girl's house and arrived late to work with my bagel and coffee in hand praying that my boss didn't catch me. I arrive at 9.30 and find that no one is at their desks and get a sick feeling that I am late to a meeting

My boy is from DC and he was telling me that shit had him walking in zig-zags for weeks

But to answer the thread question, I was in Ecology class when 9/11 happened. I remember getting a text saying "Planes are flying into buildings"
I remember telling my prof and she was like "can this wait till after class" SMH

Mr. Ho's Chem class. We never got to finish the lab that day. We were asked to stay in the same class even after the bell rang. we watched silently CNN, and all I remember is even the teachers were crying and couldn't explain what was going on. We were not allowed to go home, out for lunch....lock down all day in school.

I was held back alot Ina adeer. I am not young at all.

I was at my geometry class in Grade 10. I didn't understand the magnitude of what happened till I reached home and saw the news bulletins. It has shaped my world-view more than almost anything since.
