Black African, is too broad, when subsumed within this category, Somalis do not share any culture, language or religious practices with their fellow Black Africans. the palestines are not fighting for al-haq as you claim walalo. this is a national and arab issue. Palestinians have induced the problems in the west bank and gaza. they have sold all the prime real estate in the most historical and islamic sites. they are also divided political including on a number of issues like the recognition of Israel and on secularism (fatah) and fundermentalist nature of hamas. off course the jews are evil dameers and are ultimately responsible but this is not a islam vs gaal. its a nationalist agenda of Palestine vs the Zionist agenda of Israel.

in all seriousness. 1. nationalism has no place in islam. 2. if you want to fight for a nationalistic cause, you might just as well become a secular movment instead of lying to yourself and being delusional. 3. although al-shabab isn't a nationalistic movement, their first priority is to free, unite and then secure islam for all somali regions before joining and assisting other jihadist movements in uniting and establishing the khalifah upon the ummah. so right now it - al-shabab - is as good as a somali national movement.

khalifah is as likely as derren brown predicting the lottory numbers again - though i doubt it was real. cliches aside. this idea of khalifah belongs in the past and has died. its not a politically feasible idea. the only way for muslims to unite is through economic and diplomatic ideas.

The AlShabab are not good for somalia. they are irresponsible and have no vioable solutions. they will use jihadist tactics like false fatwas and using innocent child soldiers that will inevitably work against them. how can you declare war on the so called kuffar when they have no control of Mogadishu.

the only difference between Joseph Kony and AlShabab is the Islam and Christianity but their methods and tactics are all the too similar.
