I hope you don't get carried away, this doesn't mean puntland will become indepedent or separate, it just means puntland won't recognize SHARIF government, not the TFG or the federal system. Some ppl just like to misrepresent what puntland says to create shock and awe!!! I support puntland in this because we are having a war of good men vs evil mogadishu based men that are just hateful that anything good is given to the region of punt.

Puntland wants signed the "galkacyo accord" to base the future somaliya navy in puntland, now their are some ppl in the tfg and in particular the fishery minister ibbi who is dir bastard that wants djibouti to be the base of the new navy. Do u know why? just out of hatred for puntland.

With the somaliya navy being based in puntland thousands of ppl will be recruited from our region who will have jobs, like former fishermen and former coastguards. This will be good over-all effect for our region and ibbi can't stand that. Not only that but the funds intended for the navy from the brussel conference which is $250 million will go into the base of this new navy, plus the follow up payments in the future from the west. Therefore whichever region has this base will definitely benefit.

Hamar is out of the question because the tfg doesn't even rule 1 suburb of mogadishu. hargeysa has it'z own problem and civil war loooming. Djibouti now wants to take it for their ppl and take the $$$ from the west for their region. Farole said hell no, that won't happen. Puntland started the piracy, we are the ones who got this brussel conference to begin, without the piracy their would be no somaliya navy talk. The least we can get in return is to have the base of the navy in our land, so our local fisherman and coastguards have new opportunity and also have alot of $$$ flowing thru our region on regular basis because the navy will need to be maintained.

So farole is right in this aspect, he is asking for something that is totally within his right, now their are talks that some in the tfg want to get rid of sharmarke because he signed the accord to base the navy in galkacyo, and farole said if that happens then puntland won't recognize sharif government and his administration will work indepedently from his. That means 1500-2000 puntland troops in hamar will be returned, the bossaso port taxes not given to the tfg as revenue and many other areas were the tfg has strained our region over the years.

Good on Farole standing on principles, he shouldn't let those clowns in hamar walk all over him!!!

Tfg already collapsed to my knowledge huuno it doesn’t control any part of Somalia besides puntland that’s why the leaders of the tfg took a big vacation.

Emperior, somaliland is totally irrelevant in the south. As for koonfurians, puntland is north-east not south, learn geography.
