The disunity virus is a member of the retrovirus family and it causes severe incoherence between people that are even the closest in lineage. It is common in the Horn of Africa where it penetrates through to even the smallest of sub-clans. Symptoms include fever, swollen pride and in most cases it is also accompanied by paranoia. The patient might become delusional and attempt to put up road blocks either physically or mentally; thereby inhibiting the progress of his close relatives, neighbours, his nation and its future and HIMSELF.
The disunity virus is esspecially fatal when it reaches the Marehan. They are known to function at a highly efficient rate when they are healthy. The latter can be seen through carefully studying their medical history. Consequently, when they (the Marehan) are ill struck the whole of the Horn suffers. But if the virus reaches them then they leave their strong universal; principles and instead show a strong reaction to the village mentality of neighbouring tribes
