It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah was engaged in ribat, and the people became alarmed. So, they went out to the seashore and it was said: "There's nothing to worry about." The people dispersed, and Abu Hurayrah remained there standing. Someone came by him and said: "Why are you still standing here, Aba Hurayrah?" He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) saying:عن أبي هريرة أنه كان في الرباط ، ففزعوا ، فخرجوا إلى الساحل ، ثم قيل : لا بأس ، فانصرف الناس ، وأبو هريرة واقف ، فمر به إنسان ، فقال : ما يوقفك يا أبا هريرة ؟ فقال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:
موقف ساعة في سبيل الله خير من قيام ليلة القدر عند الحجر الأسود
"Standing for one hour in the Path of Allah is better than praying at night on the Night of Qadr at the Black Stone.""
