It is of no secret that their are sections of the ssdf in puntland who want to see puntland state secede from the rest of somaliya. I personally am not a fan of this policy nor is my clan osman mahmud. I believe the best path forward is federalist path. Mr Farole has had tendencies of changing puntland like it's flag, anthem, and over-all wants to see separate puntland. We the osman mahmud will never tolerate this to happen and mr farole will be in the fight of his life if he dares such a change.

I remember my uncle was fuming when he heard farole changed the state flag and created a state anthem!!!! I support farole as long as he remains on the federalist path, the second he declares puntland indepedent the state, puntland will be divided and chaos will assume!!!

I said my clan because all my uncles were furious and they are supportive of puntland in pretty much everything, but when i saw them fuming over the name-change and flag and anthem...i realized something is fucked up.

I don't want to see indepedent puntland, i want to federalized puntland, i want us to be peace-makers and unify the peoples as true leaders do.

Generalsnm, sxb we the mj are leaders therefore we need to act like it. We need to take active role in bringing peace between people, not just turn the other way like a weak man. Sorry no-can do!!! Puntland is real state and therefore needs to do REAL things and unite somalis and bring us back to the glory of the old days..some may say that will never happen, some may say its possible...but at least we are trying and God is with us!!!

did puntland change its name if yes..what did that happen and what is the new name

He was chosen as the first leader, doesn't mean he found it or created it. For example Abdullahi yusuf was chosen as the first leader of puntland, it doesn't mean he found it, but it was the harti conference who found puntland back in 1994 way before 98 election of abdullahi yusuf.

So get it straight son. Just because that habar awal dude was elected as the leader of the ssdf, it doesn't mean he found the idea. Everyone knows who found the idea of ssdf, it was mainly abdullahi yusuf with the consultation of other maxamud salebans.
