Hizbul Islam will cease to exist soon

Post by BaasAbuur »

It looks like H/Islam just realized that they have been sidelined by Al shabaab in all the regions they co-controlled with Al shabaab. The way it appears, Al shabaab will soon get rid off H/Islam from Jubboyinka and Bay and Bakool and and relegate them to Mogdishu. It explains why some of the top leaders of Hizbul Islam have been airing over the Somali airwaves their disappointment with how Al shabaab is handling things the mentioned regions.

----------
BARDHERE, Somalia Sep 23 - Somali insurgents have disagreed over the administration in a region bordering Ethiopia and Kenya, Radio Garowe reports.

Hizbul Islam faction declared on Wednesday that they have established a new administration for Gedo region, including a governor, a security chief and a treasurer.

According to Hizbul Islam, Sheikh Mohamed Hassan Ali was appointed as the new governor of Gedo; Sheikh Dahir Aden Abdikarim was named as the new head of security; Sheikh Ali Hassan Abdulle became the new treasurer; and Farah Abdi Ilmoge was appointed as the new information secretary.

Further, Sheikh Farah Abdirisak was appointed as the mayor of Luuq town adjacent to the Ethiopian border.

Independent sources in Gedo region said Hizbul Islam leaders decided to appoint the new officials after the former Hizbul Islam representatives in Gedo "joined Al Shabaab."

Separately, a commander for Al Shabaab insurgents in the region named Sheikh Barre Farah "Qoje" told reporters that Hizbul Islam's decision to appoint new administrators in Gedo region has "re-ignited" old political disputes.

"It is very unfortunate that a dispute that was resolved has been reignited and our organization [Al Shabaab] will not accept this administration [for Gedo]," said Sheikh Farah Qoje, waring that will issue a "clear answer."

Hizbul Islam and Al Shabaab are fighting to topple Somalia's UN-backed interim government in Mogadishu. But in recent weeks, the Somali insurgent factions have disagreed over control of regions such as Gedo and Lower Jubba, where Kismayo is located.

Hzibul Islam is actually gaining on Al-shabab, they've gained Hiiraan as Macow Switiched side's.
In kismayo shabab has given in after a small swipe by Turki who they consider as the father of the mujahidiin, a confrontation with him would
defeat their purpose.

And in the latest Ras kamboni Force's Re-inforcing itself within Kismayo

So far I am right with my prediction. I believe Axmed Madoobe will soon join the TFG. For some strange reason, losers always join the TFG as a last effort to maintain their relevancy.
