But I do agree, periods are a natural part of life, why is it so friggin embarrassing for most of us?!, also would any of you consider using the mooncup?

I think I've embaraced my period, I'm still alive and typing (never committed suicide ). NEVER will I discuss it with men (minus husband and even then if the situation calls for it and doctors), HELL NAW will I ever put it near my mouth (bloody disgusting) or anywhere else on my body.

People- Youve misunderstood the point of my thread. I AM NOT AS NASTY AS THE FREAKS IN THE ARTICLE.
HOWEVER, the have a SLIGHT point, we shouldn't be ashamed of a natural occurrence in our lives. I was merely asking WOMEN on this thread to explain if they have embraced their periods. Now, no more talk of tampons and tea, por favor.
