i was just reading this its a real shame walahi, whats even more disasterous is the top 3 stories on this mornings hadhwanaag are all Tahriib tale stories of mothers crying for their youngsters.
But all these stories need to be told in order for the people back home to know what waits for them once they embark on this journey. ilaahay haw sahlo

The question is how can somaliland police allow a group of teenager girls to cross in groups all borders? don't these people have any decency or shame to aloow these young teenager girls to run to Arab countries to be used as slaves and prostitutes.

And those faken crying mothers are part of the problem, they are the one who sends their kids $$$, these somali mothers should be jailed.

maybe the local youngsters waxaa ka waalaaya all the other youngsters coming back to somaliland from abroad for holiday etc with lots of cash, technology and their feeling get's hurt I guess, so they want the same.

Somaliland is more focked up then the south Somalia, people are fleing for their lifes, over 60 young teenagers from Togdheer disapeared in to the sea few weeks ago and also few days Later there was another ship carrying another 40 who also dissaperaed, wallahi if this dont stop, the country will be empty soon... There is more and more people fleeing to yemen now days wich is 10 times worse the focking somalia....

Somaliland is going nowhere and the people are being held hostage by leaders who hold dual nationality passports and the disapora community. This succession dream has turned into a nightmare for the average Isaaq and they are all running away by any means necessary.

I think this is why every somali in the diaspora should think about the time for UNITY because building houses and hotels will not provide jobs for the youth and disapearnces like whats occurring here is one of the realities facing somalis. Forget Somaliland and Puntland and whatever, it's time to put our heads together and wake up to what disasters await if we fail to provide a future to the youth in Somalia.

This isn't just in Somalia guys, its all over Africa... places that have real governments and national bodies and even big time resources have the same problem...

What does this have to do with somaliland independence or not its because of the bad Government somaliland is having , and because they are not creating jobs for these youths. it does not have anything to do with Succession ama waxa la miid ah. This a Somaliland problem and it needs Somaliland solution it doesn’t need a Koonfurian or Ethiopian or Djiboutian or European solution it needs a Somaliland solution.


I always see you do this when there is a Somaliland problem you blame it on Somaliland independence have you ever seen that Djibouti blames their aids problem which is around 10% right now on Their independence not hey blame it on their sick society

The problem is Somalis see tahriib as an investment more than a gamble -- a gamble with your life, money and future. Few get lucky but the majority will perish in the high seas or spend many years rotting away in a maximum security prison before getting deported back to Somalia with nothing to show for.

Diaspora who come back home have played a role in the tahriib spike. Why build a lavish house you have no intention of living in? -- its a simple case of istuus to the locals. This culture needs to stop.

It has a lot to do with recognition because this government utterly failed in gaining recognition which would bring much needed investment and possibly jobs into the country. At the very least they are negligent or maybe even deliberate about the lack of recognition and the economic situation. I feel bad for the young people risking life and limb and it can only be utter desperation that drives them to it.

As for the diaspora, they do share some of the blame for flashing their lavish consumer lifestyle in such a poor society but they also bring in a lot of money every year. The airlines, the hotels, local shops and businesses and construction industry all benefit from the landers going back every year.

Well true but there is a way to get money from the World banks remember 2 years back the world bank wanted to give Somaliland a loan of investment , but the udub government ignored the offer because they wanted cash , but the world bank wanted to invest in projects in somaliland the riyaale government wasn’t interested, because they wanted just cash , and the world bank said no cash only investment in projects for Somaliland.i blame it on riyaale and his qashin wasiirs.
