Verry intresting indeed we know for sure Dawladii kacaanka wanted to score big points , because they jebertis lost all the wars from guba the dervishes lafaruug etc.
Now lets hope the mods let this threat stay as they let that topic of Al xaji muse igarre stay and it reached 20 pages.

Darood love to say " kaneecaa dishay" balaa balaa, just to deny the Isaaq the victory of crushing the fat kuumbo and his highway robbers, and indeed we crushed him and made sure his womenhood were looted by Oromo both Jamaad and Naado Buraale .

Aside from that the author seems to be Pro-Kuumbo ? why so?

Everytime these upstart Jarbertis try something clever we Isaaq's put them in their place with a K.O. Give them another 30 years and wait for them to recover from their most recent knock out..

Can you guys imagin that Aw Jaamac Cumar Ciise the dhulos author of 2 books on the dervish refuse to finish the story after 1920 and mention the last war by the Isaaq, and yet he was in Hargaysa 4 months ago welcomed by Yuusuf Boobe in conference hall where little univeristy kids listen to this old Kuumbo revionest, thats the problem with these Isaaq their memory is short as a woman.

Aw Jaamac Cumar Ciise in 1974 was funded by Afweyne to rewrite history and collect the Mulla's "poems" which 90% of it in actuality is the poems composed by many devrishes be it isaaq or daarood or hawiye and all were attributed to the Mullah. How these poems were collected ? simple the Afweyne goverment offered $$$$$$$$$ and Daarood nomads composed new poems on the spot and it was passed as 'authentic"

I don't get it, all you do was bring old British+Ethiopian+Colonial subjects vs. Sayid Abdulle fight.

What does any of this have to do with S. Barre and if S. Barre wanted to score "old wounds", why did he not do that in the 70's before he had a Isaaq vice president (Ismaaciil Ali Abokor), an Isaaq foreign minister (Cumar Carte) and before he attacked SSDF rebel group which was a Darood rebel group.

What old score did S.Barre wanted to score against the SSDF?

I simply can't believe how dimwitted my people are. Is clan before basic comprehension and facts?

BTW I had to read twice just to see if I accidentally missed your point and that I somehow glossed over the link between your title and information. But I was right and did not miss anything accidentally.

Are you telling us voltage that your uncle Papa Huure Bare didn't use the somali state's power and resources to advance Daarood agenda?

I think Siad Barre used the Somali state's power and resources to clamp down on any rebellion and against what he believed was treason against his state but I and the rest of the world do not believe Darood had anything to do with it.

If it did, the first rebel group he went to war against would not have been Darood (SSDF).

You are just reinventing history. If you must know this is an Isaaq man responding to SSDF's taunts to Isaaq saying will you let a Darood rule when they wanted others to join their rebellion:

The SSDF rebel said:

Intaad Diini magantiis tahoo daba-mushaaxayso
Daaroodka moolkaa intaad mid uun ku biirayso
Nacasyahow maqiiqani maxaa adiga kuu meel ah.

While you are following Diini around as his subject
While you are throwing your lot in with one great Darood after another
Why do you not seek what is yours you simpleton

The Isaaq responder responded:

Haddaan Diini magantiisba nahay ama Mareexaan ba
Nama midab-takoorshoo xaquu noo mitihiyaaye
Mataano iyo waxaan nahay dad aan kala maqnaanayne

Whether I am the subject of Diini or the Marehan
He does not distinguishes and gives me my justice
We are like twins and people who cannot become unglued

Xkeyse and the rest of your young clan members, if "S.Barre wanted to settle old wounds", why would the Isaaq be defending his rule 10 years into it?

I really cannot understand how Somalis think.

Voltage,

Your problem is you are novoice in northern somalia history, your entire argument is based on silly points like " oh if Afweyne hated Isaaq why was his Dr one" or like " if Isaaq hate it Afweyne , why Dhirbaaxo jin said so and so". So the entire Isaaq is repersented by Dhirbaaxo Jin who worked for Radio Muqdisho or the the entire Isaaq is repersented by Dr Gaboose.?

There is no way of debating the likes of you who have zero knolwedge on the history of the north pre-snm , during snm and after snm.

One simple question what was the reason for the formation of the SNM in your own Kuumbo "history"?

Actually siad barre only put those Isaaq minsters in those positions after the war had begun so that the Isaaq could forgive him and forget about what happened.

Xkeyse, Dharbaaxo Jin is referred Isaaq poet and representatives of his people. This is a chain and many others were part of it. Yes, Siad Barre fought the SNM and for a multitude of reasons but this silly revision of history has no merit when 10 years into his rule some of the highest profile members of his government were Isaaq and Isaaq poets were defending him like that. What reason does anyone have to say Siad was settling old scores when he went to war against another Somali rebel group (Isaaq) when he just got done defeating a Darood one?
