I don't mean to be critical or downplay the importance of the role Sheikhs serve in our communities but they need to change their strategy when lecturing young Somalis in particular gabdhaha. Let me tell ya of an incident that occured not long ago I went a lecture about modesty with my hooyo, it was jam packed alot of mamas and girls attended..to make long story short towards the end of the lecture the sheikh used extrem rather disgusting tactic to prove his point, he stated that he went undercover for a month and made fake Facebook account and adding girls who cover outside but dress 'unislamically online' so he presented powerpoint presentation ( running time was 10 minutes ), without being over-dramatic jaws dropped, a moment of silence took over, eyes protruded out, facial expressions like wtf ..
It usually takes a lot to shock me but that just blew me away, how can this wadaad do this, shaming the sisters in public arena and to make it worse some of the mothers of these girls were present at the lecture..it is these so called religious practice that puts us off..what is your take on this

What I dislike about Somali Shiekhs is the arrogance. I don't know if they believe but they act like they are holier than thou and have a special relationship with God that requires them to prance around with arrogance. If even the prophet said "even I do not know what will become of me", how can a Somali Shiekh who can't even recite Cama yata zaa aluun from the top of his head assume he has a special relationship?

There is nothing humble about the majority of them and that shows me a lack of iimaan on their part.

This guy cannot be called a wadaad because first of all he would have known in dadka muslimiinta ceebtooda loo asturo. Secondly anyone who would be put all wadaads because of one moron who can hardly be called a wadaad is moron themselves.
