Children's programming in Africa
I am curious to know, for those of you who were fortunate enough to have grown up back home, what type of shows did you watch in Somalia? since somali was the official language, were there any japanese animes dubbed in somali?

Warsan, how are you doing sis....I forgot that most of the people around here left africa at a young age. We used to watch some arabic shows back home, things like iftax yaa zamzam, whatever it was called (arabic sesame street) or النسر الذهبي
Ganjaweed, I was hooked on Dragonballz in my teens. Majinbu

I remember Iftax Yaa Zam-zam used to come on every night at around 7. We also watched bootleg video tapes of Tom & Jerry now & then.
The only kids shows I've seen were mostly dubbed in Arabic or Italian.
