The guy at the start is commandant Zakaria (that was his rank at that time, he's now a general)...one of his kids was a good friend, a lot of memories...why is he calling himself Gaashaanle , I thought that was the equivalent of a colonel in somali :?:

I remember the day the somali delegation came for Igad...and we were given some time off from school to stand along the road from the airport and waive some foliage :lol:
