well, i can't speak for the various mujahideen groups in somalia...

neither can arabman for that matter because he considers iran and hamas islamic entities and advocates unity between the muwahideen nand ahl al-bidah while his own aqeedah isn't clear.

Which is why I believe they need to become pragmatic. I remember telling a UIC Supporter something very important: "Why not simply embrace the TFG in 2006 ? Ask for 50% of the seats of power ? An election in 3 years. And Also a team of peacekeepers to observe the peace chosen by the UIC & TFG jointly."

This would have clearly put pressure on AY & the Ethiopians.

if elections were held in 3 years, the UIC would have won.

Its said that Al Shabaab are fighting because they have to fight. If peace prevails all their leaders, will be picked off. They are all on the terrorist list, they have no incentive to even negotiate, as they can't negotiate, because they are all considered terrorists.

In any armed struggle, you got to know when to seek peace. Do it when you are most powerful because the peace you get will be good for you, do it when you are weak, and it will be a bitter peace.

Al-shabaab on the other hand don't give a fuck abt somali interest, a kenyen Muslim is the same to them as a somali. They lack any sort of basic political strategy that will ensure results. War is not just about combat but deception is war itself and al-shabaab lack that key skill. Infact they are see to manipulate themselves.

At the moment the only good thing that al-shabaab are doing today is harming somali interest towards peace and unity amongst somali brothers.
The only thing that can come close to challenging ethiopia's hold over the Ogaden is a somali government in Mog. Once we have our government in place we can deal with the sectionalist in the north and most importantly begin to re-kindle somalia's own national armed forces to then at east start to seriously challenge ethiopia.

Thanks to al-shabaab rats we cannot smoothly continue to prop the government and develop the nation, love it or hate it al-shabaab is in fact ethiopia's best friend.
What opened my eyes against al-shabaab is the day they called the noble mujahid ONLF fighters as gaalo, i was shocked beyond sense, i could not believe it.
Who knows if some years down the line we discover that al-shabaab were in fact being funded by Ethiopia.

All i am sayng is lets use our heads here, thats all.

So what you are saying is that they are burning somalia to save themselves, how pathetic, it just shows that they are only looking after number one.
