ONLF defeated Ethiopian forces in latest fighting

Officials of the ONLF have said they have attained victory in recent fighting with Ethiopian troops in the Dollo province, and the towns of Darar and Baadilo. Information secretary of ONLF, Hussein Nur, speaking to Shabelle Media dismissed reports indicating that senior officials of the ONLF have surendered to Ethiopian troops. The official said they have issued an official statement on the issue earlier on and reiterated that the reports were lies.

Hussein Nur also said they ambushed Ethiopian troops in their bases at night and inflicted heavy losses on them. He said "we have killed more than a 100 Ethiopian soldiers and captured other senior officials of the Ethiopian armed forces."

There is constant fighting between Ethiopian troops and ONLF forces in the Ogaden region. Human rights organizations accuse the Ethiopian soldiers of violating the human rights by harassing the people in the Ogaden region.

I have mixed feelings about the ONLF struggle. I support their operations to fight Xabash yet never understood their lack of condemnation of their OG Al Qacida who recruit from OGadenia to kill in Somalia

Sometimes complexity exists not for political reasons but because of the way the bussinnes operates. It is socailly acceptable to protect your house against any outsider, specially an invader.

Who needs to take orders from outsiders (regardless of what he stands for) to run his yard?
