There are a lot of charter and public k-12, high school in Minneapolis MN. It's great to see Somalis and Muslims in Minnesota making their own schools, so that their kids could get the education they want with out worrying about their culture, religion and color difference, and they could learn with their own kind. there is certianly a wide range of options for ppl who don't want to go to traditional American schools. what do you think?

Ubah Medical Academy: 9-12 charter medical high school for Somalis

Tarek Ibn Ziyad Academy: a K-8 school, with additional grades opening in the future. Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy offers tuition-free education to all students upon admission

Al-Amal School: K-12 is a non-profit organization and the only full-time Islamic school in Minnesota with Pre-K through 12th grade. We are located in the nice suburb of Fridley. The School provides an Islamic educational environment for about 400 Muslim students from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) and its suburbs

The Islamic University of Minnesota was founded by a qualified and professional assembly of Muslim scholars and educators in the state of Minnesota out of their strong belief in the need for an Islamic educational institution that serves both Muslims and non Muslims in this country.
