Although he's made many modest attempts to fix Puntland and doing a decent job as well he's failing at the smallest details. His mentality is that of president of a welfare state when indeed he's simply running a small set of regions in a wartorn country that need to address the problem of peace and security before thinking about social security services and the like.

Faroole's #1 priority should be security, something A/Y did a damn good job with, then when that is finally accomplished he will have a similar legacy, then he can let the next leader worry about the other priorities. A/Y secured Puntland and left Cadde to take care of commerce and other things but the fat one was corrupt and totally ignored security.

The idea of Faroole getting couped by Saciid Dheere is becoming more and more real.

Siciid Dheere is a riyoole and my uncle but the man has Yeey-style thinking. Faroole is too educated to run Puntland, he's thinking too much like a Westerner, about welfare services and shit. Siciid Dheere was the defining man in AY's defeat of Jamac Cali Jamac and the head of the Puntland forces in Xamar. In other words, he knows how to smack a bitch, he will have the whole Puntland army swarming Gaalkacyo to tell these morons to quit their games. He was a guest at my house over Ramadan and talked with my family about details of his plans. He's pretty much mimicking Abdullahi Yusuf. Within the next year he wants Puntland troops stretched from Ceerigaabo to Xamar.

Seriously though I think all Somalis, some more than others need more rigid, authoritarian style leadership rather then civil. Once Somalia is a more mature, Governance accepting society, only then can You have more civilian leadership

Riyoole has no militia or following (like AY & Siciid have SSDF) so therefore he has no authority.

One thing I agree there is Somalis needauthoritarian leadership, Siad Barre was a good example.

Things were so bad, that Jama Ali Jama a nobody became president during the elections of 2002 and then Abdullahi Yusuf had to use Ethiopian funding to kick him out, we all know Jama Ali jama had funding by those in Mogadishu, that is why he joined the ICU. People wanted anyone but Abdullahi Yusuf as president. But Even this elections EVERYONE knew Abdullahi Yusuf and Mudug wanted Ilko Jiir to win, but Faroole won, they want no one associate to the guy. I agree for reer Mudug things were really good for THEM and they love the man, but to the rest it wasn't. Do you have any idea how many murders there were in Abdullahi's time.

The man built nothing in Puntland, not a single school and office building everyone knows what the guy is. People want jobs and employment before anythign else, they'll take care of security themselves. Abdullahi Yusuf just used Puntland as a stepping stone to become president of Somalia, something that led to him being banned from the country. He is in Yemen for a reason.

A big statue of honorable Abdullahi Yusuf Yey will soon be erected in Garowe. Faroole has done a great job so far but random skirmishes within Puntland needs to be addressed and properly contained.

He has no reason to live there, Has he made even one radio interview or annoucement calling for peace in Gaalkayo or any other city during these "minor skirmishes"??????? I'm addressing these reer Mudug and their AY shit. he has many that adore him and many that despise him. He is might have the most passionate supporters but he also has the most people that want to see him dead, including Puntlanders. The man is in Yemen, enough said.
