It is very common in the U.S. Not just Somalis, many young Cadaans be puffin that hookah like there is no tomorrow. If done in moderation, I think it is fine but not daily.

I call that the devils pipe lol. Serious people smoke but assume its halal as it part of arab culture. Not gonna lie maybe 3-4 years ago, as a student, when it was the big social thing in london i would go with freinds and enjoy a smoke, but after around 5 months or so I vowed never to go back. Waste of time, money etc and when my lungs felt shitty i gave up. alhamdulilah.

The only person i've seen smoke shiisha since I left Egypt was my Sudanese friend. So I had no idea the shit was even common in the Somali community. It would be such a turn off if a chick is smocking that shit.
