Warsangeli dont seem to have a general agreed upon consesus of stereo typing. I would guess it is because of their obscurity. I assume they are a few very quite qabils. I haven't noticed this fixation, since there are no Eritrean posters I am aware of, but I'd imagine the supposed affinity to stem from the fact that there is a substantial Warsangeli population in Eritrea, particularly close to the Djibouti border.

I can't say I've noticed this, though.
