Anyone seen yesterdays episode of Natural World on BBC 2?

Post by Enlightened~Sista »

A tale of life on the Zambezi River, set against the epic backdrop of Victoria Falls. The story is told from the point of view of a local fisherman, Mr White, who has fished these waters for 69 years, and whose riverside companions are elephants, baboons, hippos and kingfishers. Follow the fortunes of these animals through his eyes, and learn how their lives are ruled by the moods of the river and the rains.

Watch it on Iplayer here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00nsky2

I couldn't help feeling envious of that fisherman, the absolutely breathtaking surroundings, his way of life, the freedom he enjoyed, the lack of bills, council tax ,insurance, T.V license, crime , traffic, imagine waking up to such a view every day since the 1940s?? No wonder he hasn't left! My God what a lucky man!!
