Can this be an excuse to murder?

Post by Lord Diplock »

A man suffering from impotency caused by failing health finds his wife and her lover in bed, in the ensuing argument between himself and his wife, she humiliate him by calling him 'hopeless in bed' and etc. The angry man then strangles his wife and is then charged with first degree murder and he avails himself with his own of defence of 'I was humiliated and I lost it'

If you were a juror in this case, what would have been your reaction? guilty or not guilty?

The facts of the case is that simple.

Skippa, with first degree murder THERE is always intention or predetermination. that is why it is much serious offense than manslaughter.

Unfortunately provacation is not a defence in murder, self defence is. interestly battered women have this difficulty i,e if they kill their spouse after a long period of abuse.

guilty.........for being blind to the fact that his wife had a lover. Also there is no excuse for murder in Islam so the motherfocker should be fried but she should be stoned to death for adultery too.

At the end of the day the woman is dead and he is the one who killed her. That makes him guilty and although anyone can sympathise with his situation there's no excuse for killing someone especially not because they hurt your feelings.
