When A Person Fears Allah (SWT).....a good poem to read :)

Post by *Proud_Muslimah* »

Assalamu Alaikum,

When a person fears Allah
you can tell

How many times a day do you ponder
over Hell?

And whether you enter it
and stay

Or whether you’ll be released
after you pay

You can see it in his face
and in his eyes

In what he will cling to
and what he will despise

In what is the center
of his attraction

In how he defines the word
satisfaction

In how he stops to think
before an action

In how he hates spiritual
distraction

In how restless is his
relaxation

In how remembrance of Allah
is his favorite vacation

In how cautious is
his enjoyment

In how particular he
is about his employment

In the direction in which he casts
his glances

In how when it comes to his soul
he doesn’t take chances

In the secretive way
he shares his money

In faith he finds a taste
much sweeter than honey

In his poverty to Allah
he has found Richness in His Pleasure

In his emptying his heart in repentance
he has found forgiveness beyond measure

In his isolation with his Lord
he feels overwhelmed with the company of blessings

In his hatred of ignorance
and fearing a return to a life of transgressing

In how taqwa is his leader,
not his desires

In how clear and lofty are the goals
for which he aspires

In how he tames his stomach
and incarcerates his tongue

In how readily he submits to the truth
when it’s brung

In how he smiles at the believers
and frowns at his sins

In how smooth and loving he is with his wife
knowing that gentleness always wins

In how he ponders over the creation of his Lord
increasing in insight and joy!

Fortifying his faith with tawheed
knowing what shirk can destroy

By Allah I love this person
and love to watch and count his ways

By Allah I miss this person who
seems so rare these days!

Assalamu Alaikum,

Another great poem up

..........................

-What Prayer Is...

=============
These words I jot down cos I shudder with fear
At the thought that young Muslims can sleep without prayer
That to close ones eyes can be as easy as pie
Thinking that prayer is a ritual, outdated, should die

You my fren, you must be as dumb as a log,
For you have forsaken ur freedom, to be lead like a dog!
Have you the faintest idea what will happen to you
When you rot in your grave with the worms gnawing thru

When your body is dusting
Your flesh rotted away
"GAME OVER" is flashing,
And no more credits to play!

Then the sun will explode and the mountains will sway
And the whole of creation will rise on that day!
The angels will fly, like moths to a flame
And you'll tear from the earth, to explain ur life's game!

Blackened to a char will be the skin on ur face
Your frens will desert you , there won't be a trace
Iblis will be laughing, with a stitch on his side
Bcoz you were too STUPID, to get off his ride

The wealth of this world, took you for its bride
Its too late fren, its HELL for you inside
A fire so hot, that the boulders will burn
Like a match exploding, it'll soon be your turn.

If only you had that chance to repent
You'd soon reconsider all the time that you'd spent
And there will stand pple, against whom you did tease
B'coz their sajdah did scare you, filled you with unease

While you tried to disown them, like a infectious disease,
Now you toss in the flames, while they cool in the breeze
In the line of eternity, ur life is a dot hundred years
Is all that you've got, 5 minutes of prayer!

Not worth the time ?
You've committed the greatest crime!
Prayer is not for your God
O! Fear our Lord!

When you put that big head on the humblest of dust
Its your heart that you clean, all tarnished with rust!
You connect ur soul wiz creations' Great Light
Even the darkest of hearts can be left shining bright

You remove all the sin, and Shaitan's whispering words
Slash evil's hold, with the greatest of swords.
Prayer is the path from earth to the sky
From a caterpillar you'll become a bright butterfly.

Prayer makes you remember that you ain't all that hot
And that your life really starts, when your flesh starts to rot
Prayer is that link to the mother from the womb
Prayer is the guardian that protects you in the tomb.

Prayer untangles your life, like a comb thru your hair
Against the fire of hell, it's the only cloak you can wear
So understand fren! To skip prayers is not cool
Its so stupid, so mad, you must be a fool

It's like crossing a desert without water to drink
Just open your eyes fren, just sit back and think!
This world is a lie, this world is game
Like a poisonous snake, which you never can tame

And just as you turn your back on what's right
There is sure something to bite
Fangs will leap from the darkness
Leading you to sadness

As you lie in ur coffin, facing the sky,
Your life will flash past, a twinkle in ur eye
You'll scream as the truth is slowly unveiled
Its too late, mate. This one you've failed.

Another poem Insh'Allah,

Eemaan

Life does bear a spectrum of emotions,
Arising from so many different notions,
And feelings from every type of occurrence;
Beyond control, yet so strong an influence.

At times I feel so down and drained,
As if I’m falling, falling, and fall again;
Descending through a thousand floors,
No earth is there to break my back,
Except a void; a misty tract,
So thick with fog and degrading thoughts;
A lifeless place of withering sorts,
No rope is there to pull me out,
Nor ear is there to hear me shout,
A colourless husk grasps me tight,
Forcing me to collapse under its might,
Whereupon I’m thrust down and flung to the ground,
And from above I’m compressed and crushed all around.

So hear me my brother – I’m so lost and forgotten,
Listen my dear! I’m too deep down and downtrodden!
What can one do when he has strayed so far?
Take heed of these words and you’ll glow like a star…

Do not despair of Allaah’s Mercy,
Which encompasses His Wrath – what words of beauty!
Engage with the ones on whose lips is remembrance,
And stand up from your chasm to see His Guidance,
Wash off the glue of laziness and clear your mind,
Think to start anew and rinse off your rind,
Do not look back nor be daunted by a stumble,
Never lose hope nor let your faith crumble,
Many have fallen before you but have arisen thereafter,
Ignore the devil’s whisperings and men full of laughter,
You need to awaken and know your enemy so plain,
So first stop your descent before arising in vain,
Then repent from the One awaiting your return,
This is the start of an effort to earn.

Stands you a strong one; no deterrent drags you,
A reformed character, from whom Allaah’s Light Glistens through.
And Penetrates the fog in that tract once fathomless,
Outshining its thickness and turns wickedness to dust!
Defying your misery and defending your ascent,
Finally heightened onto your high path unbent,
But still flying higher, being stronger than before,
See this, my friend: how hope opens the door!
God comes to your aid once you make the first move,
That’s all it takes to burst through the roof,
And know how to resist; fight like a believer;
Return all his blows and detect his manoeuver;
Shielded from Shaytaan and equipped to the teeth!
Shutting out his words and halting his beef!
Deadening his allies and striking with Iron,
Immobilizing such ghouls with roars of a lion,
Then unhindered by smokeless fire you do continue,
Now no longer overburdened but on life’s other hue.

I feel so content and at one with the world,
Having overcome the darkness out of which I crawled,
God has given me peace, purity and honour,
As though I’m residing with white clouds never sombre,
A cumulus of comfort and luxurious success,
A glittering amalgam that gleams from one’s chest,
Evermore I am rising, rising, and rise again,
Competing for goodness and Allaah’s Pleasure is my aim,
Ascending over many ranks,
No evil waiting by the riverbanks,
Nor attractions to disturb my vision.
No more shadows to make head-on collisions,
Only prosperous gardens ripe with fruits,
The sweetness of Eemaan sprouting from all roots,
White robes billowing out; unfolding behind me,
As I advance with vehemence through the vibrant virtuality.

"...and never give up hope of Allaah's soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of Allaah's soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith." [Yusuf: 87]
