Somalia: Puntland security forces are conducting operations throughout Puntland

Security forces in Somalia's self-governing State of Puntland have conducted operations in the commercial port city of Bossasso, Garowe and Galkayo.

The Special Forces, who were deployed from their main station in the outskirts of Garowe town, confiscated illegal weapons from civilians who kept them in their cars.

The operations comes amid insecurity that has engulfed the port city and the rest of the State.
