Wikipedia is valid (or invalid) on a case-by-case basis. Speaking as an administrator, anything not backed up by a source is noted as such, making it a reputable resource as long as you're capable of looking at the bottom of the page.

I've been a sysop since 2001. It's one of my defining accomplishments.
