ONLF Take Over Military Bases From Ethiopian Troops

Post by Oxidant »

The officials of the Ogaden Liberation Front ( ONLF) have Thursday said they took over the control of more Ethiopian military basses with fighting that continued in the Somali region under the Ethiopian control recently.

Abdukadir Hassan Hirmoge, the deputy chairman of ONLF guerrilas claimed victory over clashes between both sides which continued in the region in over the past days saying that they attacked more Ethiopian controlled areas like Dudume Adde and Dufan about 20 kilomitres to Dhagah-bur and many other military positions pointing out that they took over all the bases of the Ethiopians that they attacked in the recent fighting.

Mr. Hirmoge said that they also inflicted more casualties to the Ethiopian troops and captured more weapons from them adding that they will continue their fighting against the Ethiopians whom he accused commiting actions out of the humanity to the Somalis in the region like raping, robbing, killing and so on.

This is great news, wallahi. This is why the Ethiopian government is trying to put much pressure on Faroole as possible. The ONLF are getting stronger. Ethiopia cannot continue fighting. They have massive food shortages, OLF and Eritrea to deal with. They looked for Oil in the whole Ethiopia and they find nothing. 2010 will mark the beginning of the end. Those shameful elections will be marred by violence. Oromos are barely represented. It will be a blood bath soon

It time that Somalis from other clans to take up arms. Ethiopia is getting weaker day by day.

Somalis hve many enemies, the greatest enemy to us is none other than the xabesh.
We also hve threats to our interest from: especially Al-shabaaab which at the moment is doing a fantastic job for ethiopia to keep somalia weak and on her knees.
1) Number one enemy right now is al-shabaab, they are very destructive to somali peace and unity. They stand in the way of Somalia's central government from easily restoring somali nationhood. Which allows parasites like smellyland and bugland to remain as ethiopia's satellites against somalia's very own interest.
It is essential that all somalis support the ONLF mujahids in Ogaden and in somalia itself whilst at the same time brick by brick slowly strengthening TFG institutions in somalia itself.
After all an ONLF victory is a victory for somalia itself

Galia, you are one confused man. The tfg or the " somali government" is probably more of an Ethiopian puppet regime than SOmaliland and Puntland. You can't glorify some Xabashi puppets and demonise others. That stinks of hypocrisy.

Smellyland and puntland are nothing more than tribal enclaves. One is an isaac state and the other is an MJ state. Both are satellites of ethiopia and are infamous in handing over Ogaden youth to please their ethiopian masters.
It is in all our interest and that of our ONLF brothers for somalia to continue to hve a strong governmnt i.e the TFG.
We hve a duty to not only to support ONLF but to do much more and fight alongside ONLF leadership in somali gaalbeed. We also hve a duty to continue to welcome seeing the TFG turn into somalia's key player and power broker

@Galia, The tfg is also built on divisive tribalism, engineered from abroad, albeit with more clans. So, again, accusing SL and PL of being Ethiopian satelites whilst supporting the tfg as a so called legitimate entity smacks of total hypocrisy. Unless you have a short memory, the TFG is the same entity that authorised foreign troops to invade Somalia and the TFG took part in the Ethiopian occupation, militarily and politically aiding it. You are talking about SL+PL handing over a couple of SOmalis when the TFG helped rape and kill thousands SOmalis, looted their properties and shamefully celebrated when the Ethios took over Muqdisho.Furthermore some TFG ministers are as notorious Ethiopian puppets as SL and PL. Then what the hell is the difference? What makes SL and PL bad Ethiopian satelites but TFG a good Ethiopian satellite which must be. I seem to recall the tfg parliament even calling for another Ethiopia invasion on a few months ago. What is the difference between TFG and the "sateliite regimes" in Northern Somalia, aside from clan?
