As a citizen you have sworn and oath a promise to your country and you have rights and obligations.
as long as your religion is not undermined and you are free to practice islam, then you should be loyal to your state.

if you feel that you cannot then you should renounce your citizenship and leave..

Millions of non-Muslims aren't loyal to their non-Muslim government. For example, the American government lied to its citizens about why it invaded and occupies Iraq, actions that led to loss of life in millions, loss of money in $trillions, an incurable recession, loss of millions of jobs, the devalue of the dollar, many states on the brink of collapse as a result budget deficits, not to mention the government bailing out banks and corporations that were complicit in causing the incurable recession while the average citizen struggles to the make the ends meet. If non-Muslim citizens aren't loyal to their own non-Muslim government, I don't see why Muslims have to be loyal to such a government. So, the answer is NO. And you don't need to go further for Koranic verses or hadiths as proof.

If it comes down to proving your loyalty to a non-Muslim government, and you're ordered to deploy to an occupied Muslim country and kill Muslims, will you comply?

The Qatarian government gives you 2 choices to prove your loyalty:

a. You must enlist and train in the army. After your training, you must help Hamid Karzai by fighting the Taliban. There's a chance you survive, or lose your life.

b. Your citizenship is revoked, your assets taken, Western and Middle East countries are notified to not admit you, and you get deported to Somalia.

Choose the wise choice.

lol i dont have those 2 options.

if i refuse to do the 2 years khidma, i may go to jail for it and be in black list.

many people did that, so in the end you can leave the country if you strongly believe you made the right option.
