The political situation In Sudan

Post by Oxidant »

The most pressing thing about Sudan is the referendum going to be held in 2011 whether South Sudan becomes an own country or stays unified with Sudan. Most people knowledge the fact that they will become their own country.

Sudan, especially the north side has been developing a lot of as late. But the South has seen no development at all. The funny thing is most of the money of the Sudanese government comes from the Oil field of South Sudan. The oil and other minerals wealth of the Southern Sudan can be found almost everywhere. The government could be potentially bankrupt if that happens.

Then they have the Dafur issue as well. Bashir is now wanted by the ICC for three counts of genocide, five of crimes against humanity and two of murder. The militias of Dafur are funded by Chad and Israel. Yet, how will Sudan able to fight this front if they have no Oil revenue. Also Dafur does have Oil fields as well, interestingly.

Also Sudan also shares the Nile with Egypt, and would not like to see Ethiopia and other countries dam the Nile.

It seem the fighting in Sudan are all near the natural resources, hence why China is fully behind the Sudanese government and western governments are behind the militias. Funny, seeing Hollywood stars pretending to care about Dafur. I bet they are being paid well by their Zionist owners.

I wish the best for Sudan and its entire people.
What are you opinions?

PS: Don’t move to political area, I want most replies as possible

That what I thought as well, horta do you notice, If the American and the British government want to defame a certain country, leader, a group or a party, they use celebrity as human rights activist to show that these people are committing genocide against their own people. America doesn’t give two toss about poor Sudanese or their genocide, they care about the oil and want to get their hands on that oil, and they’ll do it by any means necessary. A lecturer was saying to us, certain governments like the American, will double the number of death toll in certain areas, just so they can get the backing of normal people like us.

How did I notice??

Wallahi, common sense.

I always wondered why Celebrities would waste their time in Dafur when other genocides were happening in other places. After doing some research in Dafur and South Sudan, I noticed these were the areas which were rich in natural resources.

Sudan biggest enemy is Israel. Hollywood is controlled by Zionist.

Is your caplock button broken??

Typing with caplock; is like screaming when talking

Sudan arms Hamas and Hezoallah as well. Israel has bombed Sudan many times, asserting that they were supplying Islamic militias with weapons.

I thought Egypt was friendly towards Sudan, since they share the Nile.

Bashir had a planned trip to Turkey. But he cancelled the flight because there was information that Israel was planning to intercept the plane and arrest him. Israel does care about Sudan

I thought those celebrities genuinely cared about Darfurians, but I guess I was wrong. I would never trust Hollywood celebrities.

The political situation has seen little change as of late, but the independence referendum has attracted controversy. The NCP compromised and allowed a simple majority vote to be sufficient granted that at least 2/3 agree, they are not at fault here. Pagan Amum was boasting that over 90% of Southerners will vote for separation. Now only 51% is needed and he cannot mobilize a mere 66% to vote for an issue as important as their freedom?

The Southerners are growing disenfranchised with the SPLM, their leadership's diplomacy is counteracting the goals the NCP has made possible for them on a silver platter, anything that happens in South Sudan from this point on is the leadership they have entrusted fault. Amum's reckless behavior will delay the referendum and result in it eventually being aborted, then what? Who can blame the NCP then?
