Gadhweyn is a nickname for northern and bari Muse ismaicils.

Gadhweyn is mostly - Xamuud Turwaa.

Reer Cawl is a sub clan of Muse Ismaaciil , laakinse aniga waxan ku iri - that the Gadhweyn "nickname" is not used on all Muse ismaaciil , only those who live in sanaag and sool.

....then wat about the qorijarado and sections of urursuge that live in togdheer and hawd do you call them reer cawl eswell..

generaly gadhwayn=musa ismail ...esp in sanaag.

like you said specially in sanaag the name Gadhweyn is more common.

laakinse i haven't seen Reer Cawl from togdheer calling themselfs Gadhweyn, because they Reer Cawl and the Gadhweyn nickname was never given to them but the Xamuud Turwaa's.

Qorijarto and Uruursage hardly live in Togdheer or Ethiopia sxb them two sub clans are known to have settlements and live and sanaag not togdheer or ethiopia unless you are counting families?

we dnt call ourselves gadhwayn others do....is just easier way of locating where one is from....but like i said wat about sections of urursuge and qorijarato who live between togdheer and hawd...do u as ducaysane call them reer cawl..
ducaysana let this be your next assignment.....find out if its families or entire sections of those two said clans live in togdheer regions...

no i call those Muse ismaaciil un ama sometimes Gadhweyn , but not Reer Cawl.

laakinse what i meant is majority of muse ismaicils who are in togdheer and Ethiopia are called Muse Ismaaciil - Reer Cawl

where's those in Sanaag and Sool are labelled as Muse-Ismaaciil - Gadhweyn, ma garatay?

bruv midhisho is of limits all the lines have been drawn ...no1 can buy land there and its been this way since the 40's unless some1 with influence brings you in. but the place in amazing the family has farm
