the blacks of Iraq actually revolted an built a city rivaling Basra some 800 years ago or something.
The rebell city lasted for 15 years it was located in the interior ( marshlands of southern Iraq .

i grew up in an arab country, and as a somali i was used to being respected and feared, even by adults like my teachers.
somalis have always maintained thier arrogance and sense of superiority even when speaking perfect arab and fitting in to arab society.

Did you know the reason somalis were mainly spared from being sold as slaves was for religious reasons?. In Islam it is forbiden for a muslim to enslave another muslim. And as you may be aware somalis abandoned whatever indigeneous belief/religion the were practising and adopted/converted to Islam 100%. If that wasn't the case the arab slave traders woud not haved sailed further in distance to countries like tanzania or malawi to buy slaves.

It's also the same reason the Omanis brought in pegan african bantus to somalia to work on their plantaions. At that time, the Omanis were the biggest arab slave traders and had control of the zanzibar of tanzania and Banadir( southern somalia) .

I never had the misfortune of being in Arab countrys;
The nation to whom I belong always thought of Arabs as effeminate people....I never had any interaction with Arab, so wat u said is ...

Here, we r speaking of a people who were under slavery for the last 14 century;and some of whom were Somalis; I dont think the "arrogance and sense of superiority" helped them so much!!!
