Egypt uses its influence within Arab world to isolate Somaliland to protect Egyptian interest by make certain that Somaliland doesn’t become a country like Eritrea

The Ambassador of Israel in Ethiopia have arranged a meeting with the so called Riyaale government a year ago and they were ready to discuss whatever relation they wanna have with Somaliland, but the Somaliland government took U turn because of Arab pressure , I wonder why

The Whole Point of Somaliland was to gain Political Attention from "other" Somalis iyo the International Community, it was never actually meant to secede. Egal felt like a forgotten lost little boy in the middle of no where. After the overthrow of Siyad Barre the International community stepped into Somali Politics and in every Somali Peace conference Darood iyo Hawiye were the only people spoken off and every other Somalis didn't really exist, that must have really pissed of Egal who was sitting in most of these conferences.

I believe the objective has been reached, atleast that of Egal, Ildoors will not be a Major Political player in Somali Politics anytime soon but at least your name will be said at the conference table and your voices will be heard. One step at a time you never know one day, just like Obama became President of the United States we just might make an Ildoor a President about 50 years from now.
