Ethiopians have never forgotten

Post by MzBeautiful »

Asalamu calikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh shedding some light on Ethiopian involvement in Somali affairs and domination of our people

The Ethiopians, unlike us, have never forgotten how the Muslims (Somalis) almost brought their kingdom to an end. They have long viewed themselves as an island of Christianity surrounded by Islam. they've recognized where the threat is coming from and worked tirelessly to eliminate that threat.

History is repeating itself and we (the Somali ppl) are deaf, dump and blind to whats going on around us. A person has to only look at the history of al-andalus, and how the Muslims lost it, to draw parallel with whats going on with us.

in al-andalus, the Muslim rule (state) broke into many rival states and with each seeking the aid of the Christian kingdoms of (Aragon, Castile, León, Navarre) to eliminate each other. This laid the foundations of the reconquests. One by one Muslim mini-kingdoms (city states) fell in the hands of Christian kings until at last every Muslim was kicked out from there and the call to prayer was never heard again until only recently in the last 50 years or so.

The similarity with the Somali situation is when the Somali clan states seek the aid of Ethiopia against each other. In some areas they rule directly and in others its rule by proxy ( Somaliland and Puntland ) so the point of all this is to say that history stands a witness to our inability to learn from what had happened in the past.

As long as there is chaos in the country, Ethiopia will always be involved. The blame solely lies with Somalia. If peace is attained in Somalia, Ethiopia will become powerless and easily contained.

Gurey goes to war with Ethiopia, they ask for Portuguese help
Siyad Barre goes to war with Ethiopia, they ask for Soviet and Cuban help

Ethiopia cannot beat a united Somalia. The Islamification of Ethiopia will be interesting, a country that was historically Christian turning Muslims

Is this like one of those Jewish Conspiracies?

Ethiopia actually always forgets. Otherwise they would never keep having those same famines year in year out. You would really hope that they would learn their lesson.
