Heeso are part of our cultural heritage,,,and expressing our opposition to the extremist actions through songs we reproduce our culture and show our opposition to the anasheed songs in arabic language, which most somali dont even understand.

Notice the pure Somali language and beat, which is in sharp contrast with the anasheed songs (Propaganda) the extremists use in their youtube videos.

We will safeguard our Somali heritage against those who want to import foreign ideas from Afganistan/Pakistan/Saudi Arabia.

PS: Songs like these will be played and remember even 50 years later, thats the power of culture (poems/songs)!

Illahay ah u naxaristo dadka ku dhinteen qaraxaas.

This song only denounces the cowardly extremist who committed the massacre.

Are you against that Babygirl? If so, you are pro the extremists.

I swear the instruments used in that video were not of Somali origin Somaliweyn. So why be more exceptive of one society and not the other? Nasheed, gabay, geerar, dhaanto, and any other form of singing that is only accompanied by drums is okay in our religion, everything else aan iska deyno. Culture is okay when it is not outside the fold of Islam. The most blessing way to remember them is to make dua for them, to pray for them, and to ask allah for their justice in here and the afterlife.

She never spoke of the message in the song, what she addressed is the form of remembrance and the Islamic aspect of it. So where is this pro-extremist labeling coming from, selective-reading?
