Friedman asks: "So please tell me, how are we supposed to help build something decent and self-sustaining in Afghanistan and Pakistan when jihadists murder other Muslims by the dozens and no one really calls them out?"

Here is an idea on how you can do that: Set a good example: Stop killing Muslims.

OK perhaps not all of them are american, but nevertheless it is refreshing.
