MINNEAPOLIS -- An 18-year-old Minneapolis man allegedly posted a message on the social networking site Facebook, admitting to accidentally shooting a friend.

Zakaria Ikar Wayso was charged Friday with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, a felony, in a Dec. 3 shooting. The complaint says the ban comes from a 2006 motor vehicle theft case.

According to a Hennepin County criminal complaint, Wayso posted on Facebook that he and a 19-year-old friend were playing with a gun when Wayso pulled the trigger and hit the friend in the back.

The Star Tribune reported the victim was in satisfactory condition on Friday night at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Wayso allegedly apologized to the victim's family at the hospital, but denied the shooting to police.

Wayso was arrested and scheduled to be in court Monday.

When would somalis realized that internet and telephone conversations are for public. Bla bla bla will let him go to jail for 5years for possession. I am glad his friend survived otherwise it would have been homicide.

Theirs been dozen cases like this popping out on the internet lately, just the other day I was hearing about some kid on myspace had a pic and actual gun that he used to shoot one of his rivals. Talk about retardation. These new breeds of stupidity need to be restrained from reproducing in hopes they wont erupt the gene pool.
