Memoirs of the Noble Prophet [pbuh]
by Saifur Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
http://www.witness-pioneer.org/vil/Books/SM_tsn/This seems like a good book, it is a mixing of sirah and memoirs about the Prophet Muhammad(saw). I am at the beginning of the first stage.
Wa Salam, Saladin.

Buugan waa siiradi nabi moxamed may peace and blessings be upon him.. Its a must read but I must say in Arabic and in English there is a big difference but its a good start to read it English.. I advice my fellow Muslims to learn Arabic so they can benefit from understanding Allah’s words and the tafseer axadeeth and so on..

Salaam SomaliSiz
Yet again you shot yourself in the foot. Now you reccommend this book and not long ago. you rejected and dismissed this author's book. Let me refresh your head.
http://www.somalinet.com/forum/viewtopi ... c&start=45So where do you stand? Or, you just follow the tide?
BTW, this book is written in both English and Arabic.

The Law
I think its best if you steered your energy and focus away from the sister who is obviously not a scholar but does things with good intentions and maybe out of emotion at times.
You seem to have some good and basic knowledge...why not use it to inform and teach or perhaps enlighten others, instead of taking on those whom you think are or as you call them Salafi...who knows you might get a postive and a rewarding answer from them.
Remeber the Quran :- Wa'uciduu Bilatii Hiya Axsan" , whcich means roughly...adress people in the best way/manner possible.

Thanks for the reminder. I'm a still a student, but the problem with the sister is that she doesn't only copy and paste literature that she has no knowledge of, but enforces on everyone's throat as the only Islamic view. She intentionally tries to mock and shock and as a Muslim, I'm only trying to put things in prespective. As you can see, I don't reply to posts to such characters like her ilk. I haven't used the wahabi aka salafi term in this post, I don't know why you have to drag it in here.
This place is worse than a bathroom and not suitable for teaching and discussing Islamic issues. Maasha-Allah, I frequent a beautiful Islamic site where Muslims debate many issues, and you could respond to any posts and articles and exchange different opinions with respect.
