Warsangeli Afar towns in Eritrea/Djibouti
It's starting to make sense now, the Warsangeli Afar were previously thought to be restricted to the border towns between Eritrea and Djibouti, and while those are the areas with the highest concentrations, Afar coastal communities are found as far as Tiyo and Harena.
In Djibouti, they're found in the Obock region. I'll upload maps as soon as I've finished this installation, the online version has poor zoom.
This is excellent news, it turns out our Nux Cumar brothers are on the more advantageous side of the Afar divide, which means they're 'Asaimara (or Red) Afar', the dominant political class.
If any of you Americans live in Seattle, is there a notable Afar community? Do they congregate regularly? This information is necessary because I may be attending one in the near future so as to present my research to Beesha Afar. We need to make them aware of their lineage so they can be integrated.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate any specific communities in Ethiopia as of yet.
Next stop: Oman, insha'allah.

Djibsomali,
Link? The place is called Tio. Do you understand what I'm saying? There are people of Nux Cumar descent in Djibouti and Eritrea, they are both Afar and Warsangeli, their lineage is the same as ours.

AW,
Yes. I think that's obvious.

Any idea where Afar live in the West, bro? I was thinking DC, but last I heard it's Amhara/Oromo central. Very few Afar to be found.
Re: Warsangeli Afar towns in Eritrea/Djibouti
The only ones closely related to the afars is the somalis of the Garre clan
Push me and i wll prove it

masha allah lately in somaliland tribes are founding their lost sons.
but you guys have beaten the record unlike HY finding a son in mudug you guys managed to find from an other race altogether.
If it is good for warsan then its good for somali too

Nomad,
There is a large Djiboutian contingent in the Maryland DC VA area so i suppose a few would be Afar. One of the staffers at the Djib is an Afar.

Anyone been to Djibouti ever notice that it is hard to differentiate between the issa somalis and afars.
The Djiboutian afars speak perfect somali which makes it all the harder

Galia,
With all due respect, this isn't up for debate. It's only come to light recently, but I've personally confirmed this with Afar and genealogists. They're Nux Cumar Warsangeli. It was just difficult locating them.
Djib,
Jazakallahu Khairan, although we wouldn't know anything about Somaliland tribes.
AW,
Thanks. Do they attend Somali communal events?

I agree with you, the afars for sure are extremely close to somalis. Probably their ancestor could be the brother or cousin of Irir samaale. The Nomad wrote:Galia,

Guys cheack out the somalis of the Garre clans dance to that of afars
Take a Focus on how both the afars and the somali Garre raise one arm high whilst jumping still non-stop
Therefore i would say that the Afars are more related to D&M clans iyo garre, sheikhaal, ajuraan and other hawiyes

Wallahii you got it wrong!
both clips are afar! there is no garre at all in the video.
in the first video where they named wrongly to garre instead of afar. reason is at 1.13 when the guy is telling his friend to enter the scene to dance
he is telling him "xuul" xuul xuul .
it means enter in afar..
I don't know much afar but i know some of the words.
