This is my list of favourite somali dance:
Saylici - the song is great the dance is OK
Jaandheer - my favourite dance (or more like a rain dance

)
Dhaanto - the gabays are great the dance not so

maria officially when the government is exibiting somali dhaqan it is the zaylaci!

EVEN in the south that is the official somali dance according to the government

Somali Dance is Somali Dance to me and one can not say Somali and than exclude

Right song, wrong dance.

Saylici has specific dance and this ain't it. They're trying to improvise it but it looks horrible in this video.

Saylici dance has very calm methodical movement with the guy and the girl side by side zigzagging together.

This dance is mostly common in sanaag, togdheer, sool and parts of hawdka and lots of different clans dance this dance. Just like how saylici is danced from jigjiga to djibouti all the way to the outskirts of west hargeisa.
