Average height for a Somali male/female

I remember reading a while ago; the average Somali height for a male was 5’9. Somalis are usually medium or tall.

Somali female--5'8

Somali male--6'1

All the males in my family are well over 180 cm

Average is around 185 cm / 6'1

I am 190 / 6'2½

My tallest brother is 196

What are you guys on about most somali girls I have seen are on average 5'5 and probably the tallest was 6'0 but that is very rare around here. But about the males you are mostly spot on they're mostly lanky larrys

Anyone who claims Somalis are on a average are 6'1/185cm isn't living within reality. We would then be considered one of the tallest people on the planet

Nabeela, For a women it isn't, do you know that the average height of women in the UK is 5'4.

Dawwa, I guess countries like germany, poland and scandinavia are the tallest you just have to look at their athletes.

This could very well be if they only measured Ogadenis and Hartis.

All the others bring down the average.
