In the history channel documentary they said upwards of ten thousand. Hutus learned shooting down U.S military aircraft is not a bright idea.

The U.S went there to feed the starving people and to prevent destructive warlord Aydiid from using U.N donated food as a weapon which led to the starvation of thousands of interreverine farmers. Baidoa came to be known as the "city of death" because of this. We should applaud the noble gesture of the U.S. to help feed our people and to disarm the warlord who was starving them.
