The idea that militant Islam is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution" is finding greater acceptance over time. But there is also bad news, namely growing confusion over who really is a moderate Muslim. This means that the ideological side of the war on terror is making some, but only limited, progress.

The truth is, mainstream Muslims are right in front of you, speaking all the time, advancing a Muslim vision of mercy and cooperation. It's time people added their voices to ours, instead of amplifying the message of the extremists

Are you a moderate Muslim? a pro-Western moderate?..is this even possible?

Do you support peaceful living among other religions?. Therefore you accept the existence of the state of Israel?

we are in times where the nabi s/w said the ummah will split into 73 groups...i.e moderate, rationalist, neo or super salafis, sufis shia wahabis and the list goes on but the funny things is, most of these names and groups were created by non-muslims but some muslims use such names to label themselves....
quran and sunnah are sufficient.
