The sacadmuse in 1825 Plundered a British brig from Mauritius
and two of its lascars where killed
so we signed a Deal with the British in 1827 that’s like 57 years in between when the British Occupied Somaliland in 1884 obviously the Deal didn’t last Long in 1856 the habarawal signed a new deal with the British

I haven't witnessed any of that myself but the facts are incraved in my heart.

Hargeisa was standing when I left and it was standing when I returned. However, the period in between, when everything was dark, shaped my current existance.

For some of us , it was yoomal qiiyaame and the end of their journey in life. Some of my favorite men died during that period. Ahmed Dhagax (AUN) was one of them. I used to serve him with water and tea when he comes our house to chew from Buuraha Sheikh Cumar.
