So the argument still rages on on how kids should be brought up..

Can children be brought up without spankings ?

Have you had success with it and if so why ?

Have you not and why ?

I feel in my mind that parents should be able to find alternatives to spanking.. It does not mean I will tell you that you are right or wrong about it, that is for the law to decide. However if the tools and opportunities are there to avoid spankings can be used why would you not take them?

Positive reinforcement is by far a more effective tool for most people and children and can be a a better way to accomplish your goals and have much happier children.

I believe it in as long as its done in moderation and without extreme violence and after the kid knows what they did is wrong after you have spoken to them about their mistake.
