Have anyone here ever encountered issues at the airports, passport control etc....
The only place I have problems in is Dubai, everytime I pass the passport check they ask me like 10 questions and if I have further identification apart from my passport such as liecene, student card, ID cards. Last time I got really pissed and I asked them to give me the telephone number to the Swedish Embassy in UAE, and then they let me get on my plane back straight away.
They usually ask where I am going, what I was doing for living, where live etc. When I travel in EU and elsewhere they just look at the passport for 5 seconds and let me thru....

Re: Problems when traveling
I actually had an issue last time I went thru the boarder. My passport has place of brith on it...and its Somalia and my friend ( I was dropping her off at the buffalo airport) is American. They asked us to pull over and they went thru my car. That was the first time and my friend was kinda agitated..but I just made small talk to the boarder petrol people and had a mini convo with one of the girls...it took em like 15minutes and they were grabbing papers out and asking what it is..they took some papers that are intended for internal use for my work out and I told the guy that he couldnt read it...it was confedential and he was like "ma'm I have the right" And then I told him "you dont have a warrent to search my car, Im letting you do it...now please put those papers back" He didnt say anything to me after that...
They let us go...I didnt have an issue on my way back.

Same here. I remember in transit through Doha airport in Qatar, the man asked my father soo many questions. Stuff like, What are you doing in UK? What is your occupation? Where are you from orignally? And my father has a short temper. So when the guy (some indian or something) asked "Business or pleasure?". My father snapped and said "Listen you biladhi hindi baastar, why dont you ask your mother if it is business or pleasure? If you ask me one more question, I swear I will beat your smelly arse back to Bombay!!!" We went through without any more questions being asked

Diyeeshasha,
I have no problems there. The Kenyatti ladies were very friendly and hospitable.
Executive,
Al Shabab has heightened the scrutiny

Re: Problems when traveling
Dubai and Doha do the extra checks because both airports got in trouble in the past with illegal immigrants travelling from there with fake (European) passports.
