7.0 Earthquake Rocks Haiti Thousands Fear Dead or Perhaps Millions.
They are saying the Hour is upon them.
The 7.0-magnitude earthquake was centered just 10 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince, the capital. Making matters worse, the earthquake was relatively shallow at a depth of five miles, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Shallow earthquakes can cause more damage.

Poor countries have poor construction that cant withstand an earthquake of certain degree. Man that suks though, Hope haiti comes out of it with lil damage or death toll.

Wallahi Haiti cadi ma aha it gain Independence January 1st 1804 from France. It was the first independent nation in Latin America, the first post-colonial independent Black-led nation in the world, and the only nation whose independence was gained as part of a successful slave rebellion.

There is no middle class in Haiti, your either rich or poor and the Majority of the people are poor.

This is a tragedy for the Haitian people. Haiti "The Somalia of the West" needs alot of help from the international community. Their government is marred with corruption, hopefully they can recover from this. The presidential palace and most of the ministry buildings have collapsed hopefully law and order can prevail after this ordeal.
