For some of you, you might consider this a rethorical questions, other would beg to differ. I'm not trying to create controversy in here, frankly the question itself has created controversies across the muslim world.

Having sex is haram, and it would be preposterous to say that masturbation is not haram as well, when the Quran says "stay away from all sexual ACTS". Nevertheless, others have interpret it into their own lustfully ideological interpretations. So, the question truly is.....if dating is haram, how can a man and a women get to know eachother, emotionally, intellectually without having the opportunity of having alone times together.
On the contrary, it could be argued that alone time leads to sexual temptations !! I beg to differ otherwise

TATI, you're asbolutely wrong. The rules and regulation of Allah are not meant to be broken, however rules set by humen being aren't so signifcant and are to be so fragile thus face the consequances of being abliterated.
