i love this show.. anybody else watch it? folks from the UK would know this well...just started airing in Canada recently..

i wish i could do this with tammy the un official somali cook...and see which one of us is the better cook..

Good show actualy, can be quite repetitive though.
Every once a while you'll have one character that is the centre of that particular episode.

I remember this one episode where there was a guy, in his mid 20's and genrally didn't know what he was doing. He prepared the food for the 3 guests and none of them enjoyed it. Now it's time to go to another persons house and taste the food.

Guest number one arrives, rings the doorbell, dressed formally and with a bottle of champagne.

Guest number 2 arrives, rings the doorbell, dressed formally and with a box of chocolates.

Guest number 3 arrives, the handhicaab dressed in a t-shirt and shorts, no present, doesn't ring the doorbell and matches right in the house to the kitchen.

Everybody was like "Did you just let yourself in?" and he was like "???????"

guest # 3 is typical somali. you invite a somali for martiqaad and they alwasy come empty handed..

Some of the people are just mad, there was this one lady who fell asleep at the dinner table and was freaked out by shellfish.

The narrator is funny as well lol .

The funny thing about this show is that if they find anything inside their food, (one guy who was hosting had a cat...guests then found cat hairs in the food lol)...they just pick it out and carry on eating. Ahh, so polite...

The somali Hooyo's are obessed with this show. My entire neighbourhood is now doing this in groups of 8. (all somali women).

I think the prize is each women is offering her Dirac (from what Ive heard)
