Is Ayaan Hirsi Mentally unstable?

I think she truly she is. She is adamant in being controversial, noisey and attention grabbing. Why is she so determined to make so much noise as to cause all this mayheim? After reading the article-- i went and google her. Apparently, she was in Wisconsin university to give students lectures. The place was barrackated with top notch security measure as her life is deservingly on the hit list. So --i will save u from reading the entire article...here i will only post quotes she said at the university.

She was promptly greeted by a couple of people in the audience who shouted, “Allāhu Akbar,” or “God is Great” in Arabic.

Hirsi Ali responded that she could not say “God is Great.” But she apologized for the security measures and late start. “Some people think that I should be silenced,” she told the crowd. “I thank you for giving me a platform.”

“No culture, no religion, no idea has ever been as brutal to women as Islam,” she told the crowd. “It was a special kind of hatred the Nazis had against the Jews. Islam sanctions a special kind of hatred against women"

She said that Islam is more than a religion, but also a political system, one that is incompatible with U.S. democracy and pluralism. “They are as different as day and night.”

I’m here to say when America has a bad idea... those ideas are examined.”

Then she added: “If America is killing people, are you saying you have the right to kill people?

"“The Muslim mind can be opened by looking outside of Islam and then retaining what people find valuable about Islam, like hospitality,” she said. “I don’t think gazing at the Koran for hours and hours can help that.”

The emancipation of the Muslim woman is the key to reforming Islam.”

In her hour and a half talk, Hirsi Ali stood firm on her controversial views. She said she had once been a devout Muslim, but had since come to question not just how Islam has been interpreted and practiced, but the core of the Prophet Mohammad’s teachings.

Seriously, to me reading this---Ayaan hirsi strikes me as someone who is mentally ill. Or she discovered, to be controversial one can earn some big $$$$$.... I say this because in this instance--the moment Hirsi hit the podium-- students shouted Allaahu Akbaar---and she quickly began her victomhood comeback of "Oh they want to shut me up" Right away she goes defensive and fears to be shut up, which will in turn end her attention tool! Who is responsible for this birth of attention deficit disorder??? Is it her absent homoseual alcoholic father? Her docile unknown mother? Her gaalo friends?? I think the first time a gaalo immigration person who first listened to her--gave her attention, which was a job obligation---that mesmerized her to orgasm, and made her think that this could be her calling. Her grand career of lying to the gaalos about imagined sufferings and persecutions began in the assylum office of holland.Which was elevated upto the parliament of Holland. WHO let this dog OUT? oR Hoe gart het???

Seems totally sane to me. In fact, MY analysis concludes she isn't a die-hard atheist. In fact I don't think she disbelieves in God at all. I think she accepts and believes in God, but loathes dogma.

Emphasis on "IMO". Because really. Are you qualified to state that someone can or can't "consider themself a Muslim"?

This qasiis thinks he possesses more wisdom than Allah swt, and still considers himself a Muslim.
Uff, I can imagine these morons with a tippex blanking out the bits of the Quran they deem 'backward', subxaanalah.

"This qasiis". Again, the classic technique of addressing the masses and not antagonist when cornered in a debate. Subxanilah indeed.

Cornered? :| Debate? :|
I was merely remarking that by even harbouring the thought that Islam can be 'updated' or 'reformed', you put yourself in the position of considering yourself more knowledgeable that Allah swt.

Basra,

The only reason you hate Ayan Hirsi is she got more attention than you got!. Both of you are attention whores.

However, she came first on that stage and sung one good Antagonist song.

Way to go, dear Basra. And c'mon you can be like Ayan if you work hard,
