Shot man not connected to bombing

A man shot dead by police hunting the bombers behind Thursday's London attacks was unconnected to the incidents, police have confirmed.
A Scotland Yard statement said the shooting was a "tragedy" which was regretted by the Metropolitan Police.

The man was shot dead after police followed him from a south London flat to Stockwell Tube station on Friday.

Two other men have been arrested and are being questioned after bombers targeted three Tube trains and a bus.

The statement read: "We believe we now know the identity of the man shot at Stockwell Underground station by police on Friday 22nd July 2005, although he is still subject to formal identification.

We are now satisfied that he was not connected with the incidents of Thursday 21st July 2005.

"For somebody to lose their life in such circumstances is a tragedy and one that the Metropolitan Police Service regrets."

The statement confirmed the man was followed by police from a house in Tulse Hill that was under surveillance.

His death is being investigated by officers from the MPS Directorate of Professional Standards, and will be referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

Hey they are desperate. The public needs to know that their police knows how to shoot. It doesn't matter who get killed. When the police fights back (and kills & arrest innocent people) the general public feels safe.

walaahi they are paranoid these people, every1 knew he was innocent they chased him he jumped the barriers then shot him, he was dead instamtly but they were too scared to say it af first,

realistically speaking who would shoot someone if he was carrying a bomb in his back LET ALONE shoot him 5 times.. people didnt ask these questions. As for Muslim Council of Britian MAB, they really disappointed they are the ONLY group who voices our concerns and they were on every news TV and YET none of them requested the police to show the public what was in that boys bag for them to shoot him, they should of showed anger rather then suck up to what the newsrader were saying, i swear thats why i prefer MPACK, the only out spoken well organised muslim association, they dont hide shit and they know the LAW too so they know when to hush up.

METROPOLITAN POLICE YOU HAVNT ANSWERED ANY OF OUR QUESTIONS SO SPEAK NOW.. the saddest part is now that I urge every muslim to watch out and when an officer calls u please stop and answer them coz u never know whats under their vests.... yep guns Rolling Eyes

Why are people suprised? Even the four "alleged" bombers from 7/7 had nothing to do with the bombings. All they showed was some dodgy CCTV from Luton; where are the images from King's Cross when they arrived together? Where are the images from the trains before the explosions? Why did the Israeli embassy say that they had been warned about the bombings MINUTES BEFORE the explosions by the Metropolitan Police? Things don't add up, call it a conspiracy theory but this thing reeks through and through!

Well, the story can be written in this way or that way.

What about: Four guys kill 50 people in a matter of a hour?

A good film director has two movies here:

Movie 1: a terrorist attack in London on 7-7.
Movei 2: A innocent Brazilian is killed by the police in London.

Judge for yourselves. You can side on the Brazilian man, an innocent victim of the British police. You can also side with the 57 victims of the terrorist attacks.

What, of those movies, would be the best?

For me, none of them.

And why?

Because they are about victims.

No reasons, no logic.

In London there weren't 52 dead, there were 53.

That's the sad thing

or it can be written this way:

Movie 1---bunch of people die in bombings done by their own governments in attempt to turn them against the minorities living in their country...interesting but boring to the masses..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Movie 2: Hard-working brazilian man takes a journey with filled ups and down to make his life and that of his dying mother better only to find himself shot to death because of his physical features.
