In arabic it is called Al Samawat Al Sab'a so i guess literal english translation is the 7 skies but a more accurate translation will be the 7 heavens as you mentioned.

you view of Paradise is distorted, if you compare it to something as horrible as public housing. I heard the smallest, lowest paradise is bigger then the heavens and earth combined. and the scarve of the hural-ayn, is better then this world and all things in it.
