Fashion Etiquette for Somalis
I wanna educate some of these Somalis suffering from bad fashion syndrome, let me shed some light for you on the ways and means of fashion and style.
The commendments of clothes!
-What you wearing should match, not 100%, but the shoes could match with the hat, or the belt etc. in colors and fabric.
-What you wearing should fit you perfectly, not too tight and not too loose.
-No cheap, rug tag clothes, what you wearing should be worth some money.
-what you wearing should be clean and ironed.
-your cloth should match the occasion, don't wear party cloth to the mosque, or wedding cloth to work. dress appropriately for the occasion, Most Somalis commit this mistake. you will see women, that look like they going to a wedding at work, and men wearing baggy jeans and hat at the mosque.
-What you wearing should be hip or at least current, not something outdated, like your grandpa or grandma use to wear.
-Don't over dress or under dress. this means, don't wear too much make-up, jewelery and accesseriors, don't also just put on a tank and shorts only.

Re: Fashion Etiquette for Somalis
Can you please add:
If you wear a hijab: Please dont tuck your cell phone between your hijab and walk around like its a bluetooth gizom.
For men: Pants on the ground, pants on the ground...look'n like a fool with your pants on the ground.
